I can’t for the life of me find these specific tail lights. All of the common halo tail lights on the market have a gap on the sides for the screws, and I don’t like it. Anyone know these tail lights? The pic is from c7carbon.com (no they don’t sell them)
Too bad no one has created an LED set, where the screw comes into the light from behind using the existing screw hole in the opening. With the unit being LED, you would most likely never need to remove the unit after installing it. That way you could create the halo without the break for the screws.
So.... this came up on FB a year ago. I proved it was just a photoshop image for folks.
BUT...
There are two models about to hit the market which have the Halo and the FULL OVAL with a reverse mount setup for the fascia (meaning no bolts from the exterior of the car). I believe both are also infinity lights in the center. At least one allows you to turn that function off. I was told the option would exist on one, don't remember which, to run it basically like the original Halo if desired - basically as an option. But so far we are getting teases of the product and no order sheets. They exist. They work. They're just not coming to me yet from UPS.
The broken halo was one of the things that bugged me about my original set that I ran for a few years. I swapped in a set of new LED tail lights last year from VetteLights that integrate the screw holes into the design. So far I like them, but would also welcome a full halo again option again.
Original LED Halos that I replaced as one had some failed sections:

Good to know. Hopefully they'll be available soon.
