Driver's side mirror
This is about my '04. Sometimes the driver's side mirror just moves on its own accord. I always use the same key fob (#1). Have set the mirror where I want it and pressed memory 1 button...done this several times. But still occasionally the mirror moves. I assume it does this on start-up and I just do not notice it.
Is this a sign that door control module or seat control module is losing bus communications or something?
Appreciate any insight on this one. Have searched but did not find this problem.

Does it seem to move by way of mirror assembly the motor or just on it's own? My 2003 needed a new when the mirror shifted as I closed the door

I assume the mirror is being moved by the motor as I have always been able to adjust it back using the motor. I would think if something was loose I would reach the end of the motor travel and not be able to adjust it back again.
Also always seems to go to the same position. I am going to try setting memory positions 1 & 2 to be the same.....perhaps even do #3 as well. See if that helps.
I have replaced the driver's side control panel, but the mirror did this before as well.
Other ideas???
