My first tornado.......The last house was three doors down from me. Just about every tree in my backyard came down one of which destroyed my deck. Minimal damage to house itself but I'll never forget that loud crack that sounded like 5 transformers exploding at the same time......the vette is unscathed.

Been there and seen that. Except for the tree on the house.
Been through a number of downburst that are just as bad and had a couple tornado brushes.
We just had our trees cleared out this winter due to expected major storms. thinned and topped can save a house.
Glad no one got hurt. we had 3 death and a ton of damage just 3 weeks ago here. We at least have basements to go to. My buddy has had two tornados in 3 years hit his property. They have lost almost all their trees.
