Hello from Alberta! 2002 C5 triple black convertible owner, got it last summer. I've done a few upgrades, mostly to the audio system, and have read quite a few of the posts about various C5 owners upgrades. I've been working on a "behind the seat" subwoofer upgrade, there was another gentleman's post (madsonp) he's done it with a C6. From his and others posts, I don't think it'll work on the C5, there's definitely less room for the top. Anyways if I do get it to fit with 8" subs, I'll make sure to post about it.

Good job on the enclosure.
Here's a thought if you haven't included it; Most bass speakers respond with more punch of your enclosures have openings to allow pressure equalization. The speaker will move more and faster if the enclosure is vented instead of sealed.
If you cut ports in the box on the inside of the speakers next to the waterfall that would likely add interior sound back towards the seats.
