Default 1998 Corvette

First off, thanks for any assistance from more knowledgeable people.
I have a 1998 Torch Red Targa 6 speed. 80k miles. The car is in great shape. I bought it from my brother original owner about.4-5 years ago. It's all sorted out of all the gremlins through the years .Headlight gears, seat rocking, lcm5, etc. I put new Indy 500 tires on it, and a new clutch, slave cylinder, pressure plate. This is a great unmolested car. But my daily is a Mustang convertible. And I'm losing my garage space. And I am and drive like an old man. Lol
So my question is what's the best way to get this car to an actual buyer at a fair price. And what is a fair price?
Thanks in advance. Dave

Moved to C5 General for some pricing recommendations. When you come up with a price, please repost, with a price shown, in the C5 Corvettes for Sale section.

What is a fair price? The one that a buyer agrees to. I suggest 1) doing research on various car for sale websites and match your car with what is being offered for sale; 2) look at the Kelly book/NADA/Edmunds for sale/trad'in values for your car. Then determine what is the walk away offer and then pick a number for listing. You will soon find out if it is to high.

You could list it on this site, and anywhere else like Corvette trader. Try to cast a wide net. It’s common for serious buyers to do the same for a nice C5.

I have found that the KBB online price guide is pretty reliable. It takes into account your area and recent sales. Unmolested, red, six speed, and new tires are all plus factors to emphasize. Also “been in family since new” is a good selling point. For a ‘98 you have a lot in your favor. 80k miles is not high, but not low either.

My guess is about $15k. Let us know how the calculators come back. 👍

What year is the Mustang that you’re selling?
