Need Help
I am in the process of replacing the rear roof weatherstrip on my 2002 Coupe. My problem is seating the rear portion of the weatherstrip in the channel. The front half is no problem. Is there some technique that will help? I have cleaned up the channel and surrounding area of all sealant.

You are referring to the halo weatherstrip, and the channel that goes across the halo bar, not the two shorter channels along the back edge of each door? Is this a Corvette Rubber Co. replacement, or GM? I eventually paid a body shop to install mine, thinking they would do better with the shorter than OEM side sections, but while I was originally working with it I found using an O-ring lubricant helped ease the base into the channel.
