Took me about 30 minutes. It is a bit of a challenge because the struts are somewhat hidden under the very top of the rear fenders. To see them, you have to get your head way into the trunk, then look upward. I'm 71 years old, 6'1", and not all that flexible anymore, but if I can do it, you young flexible guys and gals can do it too. Just make sure you have a long towel to put over the back of the car between the trunk opening and the rear bumper because you'll have your belly or side resting on that area and you don't want to scratch your baby!
Basically, I went into the trunk about 1/2 way, headfirst, then rolled a bit so that I could look upward and see where the struts are attached. (somewhat of a rib buster, ugh) I had a short plastic step stool just behind the car so that my legs and feet had a little support rather than letting them dangle in midair.
And when you put the new ones on, just like Daaryl showed in the video, BE SURE to put the tail end (back of the car) on first, because the new struts won't compress enough to install both ends from the trunk, So, you'll need to close the trunk, then open the tonneau cover (because the car's system won't allow both lids to be open at once) and push the front end of the struts on from the open tonneau cover area.
Since the struts will be off before you do that, the cover won't stay open, so you'll need a prop rod, or a helper to keep the cover open. I asked Mrs. Unobtanium and she came through like a champ. (I love that woman!)
Cheers,
