I have TSP headers and x-pipe and the fitment is terrible (car came with these). There are no cats and it leaks everywhere, so I'm working on better 4" wide clamps. But, the biggest issue is the pipe between the x-pipe and the start of the axle-back on the passenger side. The bends are terrible and it's hitting the tub so the car rattles. So I have two questions:
1 - What are those two 15" sections of pipe called between the x-pipe and axle-back? I'm looking to order new ones if I can identify what to ask for...
2 - Is it better to get hi-flow cats welded into my current x-pipe or just get a catted x-pipe? I'm definitely adding cats, just trying to figure out what's best.
Awesome, thank you. I was debating on what path to take, but after driving to the gym last night (it stopped raining briefly in DFW), I realized it was a better idea to just replace the entire assembly from the headers to the axle. I smelled like fumes when I arrived, and I'm not putting up with that.
