Question

Question my 2001 corvette my driver pop up headlight motor burned out I live in New York State and I’m trying to find out how much will it cost me to get a new motor and to have it installed roughly parts and labor For the whole thing

I just replaced both of mine on my 2000 it's not a hard job to complete yourself. This way you only need the replacement motor. There are many places you can get these motors pretty reasonable.

If you are not a DIY, , here is what it cost me in 2020 to replace one headlight motor by my go to mechanic: Motor: $258. labor $165.

Is it the motor or the gear that failed. You can replace the gear for $45 with a billet one. The plastic ones strip with age. Seldom to the motors die.

I have rebuilt a couple and not hard to do.

Make sure you diagnose the problem correctly! Purhaps it's only that GM plastic motor gear costing 50 bucks. Replace that cheap *** gear with a brass gear! Happens to must C5.
