I have used them on motorcycle tires but no way I would use them in my car tires. They did get rid of an imbalance on my bike but I didn't want to put any weights on my billet wheels.
I have yet to see an evaluation that was other than anecdotal. It's 2024, we have access to myriad methods to accurately measure vibration and active balance and nobody posts any scientific measurements. Why? And if I'm wrong, where does one find the data?
I have a small three axis mems gyro I've been planning to use on an motorcycle axle for years, just never seem to get around to doing some measurements.
I've also used them on motorcycle tires and was happy enough with the results.
They are used in semi-truck tires, if they work there then they will work in small tires like corvette sizes too. @redzg has a point though, the data should be readily available if they work or not. Where is it? The fact that the bead manufacturers don't have the data posted everywhere tells me it probably does not exist.
