hi im just wondering what are some good all season tires for a c5
I've been looking at these:
BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S PLUS
Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus
Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4
Michelin - Pilot Sport A/S 3
on another note what are some good options for bolt-ons for some extra performance and some good luxury interior upgrades besides head unit?
I know this is not on your list, but look at the Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate tires. I had them on my last '99 and now on my '03 polished set. They are a great performing A/S performance tire at a good price, check them out.
They are all good, the problem is that they’re almost impossible to find the original size.
If the OP owns a non-Z06, the oem tire sizes are plentiful. Z06 fronts can be a problem, though Michelin and Bridgestone offer 265/40/17's from time to time.
What do you want them to be good at? Personally, I look for tires that aren’t directional so that they can be rotated side to side. Then I look at which tires are on sale. I have close out BFGs on the back and close out Generals on the front. Those are just my all season street tires so I’m never pushing them very hard for it to matter.

This could be a thread all in its own. What kind of performance are you looking for? Better throttle response? More HP/Tq etc.? Better gas mileage? Faster 1/4 mile times etc. Extra performance can mean a bunch of different things-
Michelin Pilot Sports are good tires. They handle good, ride nice and are quieter than most others. I run them on my C5 and my C6Z06. I ran the Goodyears for a while, but overall for my needs, I prefer the Michelins.
