Default unknown part
My wife found this lying on the garage floor right under the passenger side door of her ‘02 convertible. I have no idea what it is or where it came from for sure. It’s about 5-6 inches long and about 3/4” wide. Any ideas?

What material of construction? Steel, aluminum, rubber... organic?
