There’s not much movement with the latch itself, but you can adjust the hood slightly back or forward with the two bolts that connect to the frame rails in the front. You will also need to detach the hood strut to reduce the tension.
The latches are adjustable however the rear adjustable rubber stops get hard with age making it more difficult for the latches to seat. The adjustable stops are supposed to compress some and apply a little upward pressure to keep the closed hood from rattling. It's also a good idea to solvent clean the old grease out of the latches and re-grease.
Since ownership, 10 years, my hood needs a energized push to close. I find the hood latches easier if I close it from the passenger side then the driver's. Weird.

I was having a problem with the hood latching down. Hit the latches with brake cleaner and new white lithium grease. Perfect.
