2004 z06 wheels
Were the factory 2004 corvette Z06 wheels chrome or polished aluminum? I've heard NO. C5 corvette left the factory with chrome wheels, incl Z06. If they are not chrome they could fool me

No chrome z06 wheels. Don’t care who says different. Only on 2004 did z06 wheels come polished but only on comm Ed z06 edition. All z06 wheels were argent silver painted in color. 2001 were Alcoa and 2002-2004 they were speedline. Alcoa we’re forged and heavier but stronger and speedline lighter but not as strong since they were cast spun.

I agree. No C5 wheels, base or Z06, were offered in chrome from the factory.

Thanks guys, for clearing this up, one more c5 wheel question. What was the application for the 5 spoke regular wheel and the 5 spoke thin spoke wheel, wasn't the thin spoke a polished wheel and wide spoke a standard painted wheel

The wide spoke was painted, 97 98 99. or as they were know as the wagon wheel. Yes the thin spoke was a polished wheel, 2000 -2004. Also came as a Gray painted wheel.
