My 2000 C 5 roadster I bought new has had the visor vanity mirror pull away from the backing. I ordered replacements from Zip but the rod that holds the visor at the header is about 3/8 to 1/2 inch short. Zip was super and sent replacement, but experiencing the same problem. Does anybody know if there is a difference for roadsters and coupes? If there is no difference, does anybody sell the OEM visors? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
I did the visor delete. Rarely were they ever used/helpful and mine were looking pretty worn out. If I had black interior I may have replaced them but the shale interior ones are like 300% more expensive lol

Mine dry rotted and fell apart. They are shale. I bought LED replacements from ebay. I think they were $ 175 for the pair. They aren't as good as OEM but they are much better than the old ones I had. I don't ever use them anyway.
I bought the Amazon visors with LED vanity lights and I’m happy with their quality. They are the same visors shown in the C&S video but half the price.
Not sure what’s going on with ZIP Corvettes, but the OEM visors are the same for C5 coupes, convertibles, and hard tops.
I bought a set of amazon, they work fine.
There is also a write up on using the leather ones from a c7 (or c8?) ... I was going to do it, but didn't really seem worth it.
I made my own sun visors when the originals deteriorated. I used new masonite and replaced the mirrors with a Homelink garage door opener I sourced from another car. I eliminated the mirrors because...who uses them?
The new visors from C&S arrived yesterday; installed them this morning. It took a little more force to pop the old ones out than I expected, but otherwise that was the simplest upgrade I've done on the car. One nice touch is the seatbelt warning stickers on the new visors are very easy to remove and discard.
I removed my sunvisors completely. They are in perfect condition. I did it because they look stupid on a convertible with the top down, are something to fuss with when unlatching the top and block your field of vision. I've had multiple vettes, including 2 C5s. I wish I would have removed the visors back in 2001 when I got my first C5. Best mod..... EVER. So much easier to deal with roof latches, cleaner in appearance and best part is, a MUCH improved view. (Yep, can see the stop lights without having to duck my head down now).
