Default Need some help

Good morning everyone. I need some help and any advice would be amazing. My father recently passed away and had a 50th anniversary corvette with 30k miles on. I for the life of me have no clue where to start trying to sell this for my mother. It seems like a car that I don’t just post online but again I could be wrong. Any advice to help me get this done for my mother would be great.

Go to the For sale section.

Keep it. It was your dad's car. Mine came from my dad via my mom when he passed, it is a great memory of him.

Your first step would be to read over the forum on selling cars and parts here on the forum. Here is the main rule you need to follow:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...eir-parts.html.

There are many places you can advertise your car for sale - Craigslist, E-bay, Cargurus, local papers, etc, but you can also advertise the car right here on the forum. For your car, this would be the section to advertise in https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-for-sale-52/.

Some advice would be to ensure you have an accurate description of the car which includes all options, mileage, condition inside and out, any problem areas, if it has a clear title, and price. Pictures, and plenty of them, is always a good thing to include in your listing. A location of the car (city and state) is good to include. Since you would be listing the car for someone else, pay particular attention to that section of the for sale rules that mentions selling a car you do not personally own and the additional information that is required.

To get an idea of how to structure your for sale thread, browse other for sale listings that have already been posted to see how others have done it. Some listings are very good, others could use some work, so carefully evaluate how you want yours to look.

If you have any questions, you can ask for help from any moderator or administrator or ask fellow members for some advice. Asking for advice from other members should be done in the C5 General section of the forum rather than in the for sale section.

Best of luck and my condolences on the loss of your father.
