**PSA: Don’t Neglect Your Fluids!**
I recently changed the manual transmission and differential fluids on my 2003 C5 with only 32k miles. The shop told me the old fluid was *black*—probably original! After the change, I noticed a much smoother shift, although that could be a bit of a placebo effect. Either way, it’s a reminder to keep up with routine maintenance, especially the easy stuff like fluid changes.
For anyone curious, I went with AMSOIL INC. Signature Series.

I've been listening to differential grumble at stoplights for so long it just became normal for me. Put the car on ramps and stands this summer and swapped the diff fluid and... All quiet now. $30 and 20 minutes all in.
