Yamalube Marine Grease is my go-to. Otherwise white lithium grease. Definitely not WD-40.

Yah... Dont use WD unless it is stuck/frozen.
I use Tri-Flow on many things. I have both drip bottles and the aerosol versions. The stuff works great on my C5 hinges. Drip or spray on pivot points of hinge, wipe off the excess.
The other lube I would recommend would be Corrosion X or ACF-50. Both are penetrating, wicking, great anti corrosive lubricants.

By far....................the best thing to use is Lemon Pledge. Spray it on and wipe off the excess and not only is it lubed , but looks great.

One should use nothing but... light weight sewing machine oil on one's cheirshed C5 door and hood hindges!...gonna be the very best job one may do for ones Corvette ! A very important chore... lubing ones hindges... It will not be difficult in locating sewing machine oil... even in the boondocks of Montana women sew!... Well.. Some do! 🙄

I use motorcycle chain lube. It goes on thin allowing it to get into the hinge and thickens up.

That's why I like marine gear lube. Penetrates and persists.

That is why "old school" Lemon Pledge is so good.
