I believe I saw the leak running down the inside of the passenger side window while washing it in my driveway. When I removed my seats to give the carpet a good cleaning I noticed rust had been forming at the rear of the seat bracket. I had to clean the rust off the carpet, sand prime and paint the seat bracket. What did I do to fix it? I didn't drive the car in the rain, and was careful washing it!
Okay, you installed a new regulator, now you have to get it fit correctly. There are three adjustments. Up/Down, Fore/Aft and Tip in/Out. It takes a while to get these right. Remove the inner door panel and go from there. (browse the forum, there are many posts on whre the adjustment points are.)

Yeah! I did the adjustments lol it took forever.
The window weather strip was also not pushed behind the metal strip, causing it to loosely hang. The issue i’m now having and have been having for a while is just water dripping on the door. and on the carpet from the middle of the driver seat towards the rear.
Thats why I would think it’s the window strip, wouldn’t water be leaking towards the A pillar and not in the back of the seat?
Idk, I just don’t wanna spend 300$ and that not fix it, and I definitely don’t wanna spend 700$ and not be the issue
I have a number of Word files that discuss water leaks on a C5. PM me your e-mail address and I’d be glad to send you a copy of the files.
I may have asked this in the past, and just forgotten both the question and reply -- if so I apologize in advance for being repetitious:
Any reason we can't just post the files in question as part of the stickies or similar?
