I like having the sensors on my daily driver cars but that system is fully integrated into the electronic system from the factory, including the infotainment system rear camera. Not sure I would drill into the rear fascia and run all the wires without that system being seamless too.

If you can’t back up a C5 you should not be behind the wheel.
The new cars many of these sensors are required or GM adds them to avoid being required.
if you have a big trick or SUV I get it but a C5?
As for the C8 it has some major blind spots. In that case I get it. Even a C7 Coupe has some larger blind spots.

Lotta neat stuff nowadays... for old guys driving sportscars. It ain't easy to drive a fast car fast backwards.... For sure fast OR slow, at old age "Judgment" is the challenge along with a "give a ****" attitude... Every little bit helps.
