Just bought a V1
After reading all your reviews, I think that it was a sound investment and will save my butt in the long run.
I will be bringing it to the dealers when I pick up my Z... just kidding... Thanks guys.

You won't be disappointed. Just hardwire that baby in and watch out for 5-0.

Re: Just bought a V1 (GOLD72)
I have a V1 and a Passport 8500 and have used both of them at the same time. The V1 is more sensitive by several seconds and the arrows are fantastic. :flag

Smart getting one before you pick up the car.... I didn't and paid $276 for the privilege... I had only had the car for 30 hours...... :steering:

Nice detector. Just remember that it does not guarantee that you will not get a ticket.

Enjoy it. There are great installation directions on this site. Do hardwire it and put the remote into the ashtray.

Re: Just bought a V1 (CPT Z06)
I did not buy the remote locater? Is this really necessary in the Z? Also is there a mount I remember reading about that screws into the rearview miror?

V1's should come automatically with the purchase of a Z.
