Just bought a V1
After reading all your reviews, I think that it was a sound investment and will save my butt in the long run.

Congrats on the car, and the V1!! I have 3 of them, and no tickets!!!!. Remember they don't always have there radar on, keep your eye's open!. Ric

I have a V1 and a Passport 8500 and have used both of them at the same time. The V1 is more sensitive by several seconds and the arrows are fantastic. :flag

Enjoy it. There are great installation directions on this site. Do hardwire it and put the remote into the ashtray.

I did not buy the remote locater? Is this really necessary in the Z? Also is there a mount I remember reading about that screws into the rearview miror?
