Do any of you know what wheels were as used on the Pratt and Miller C5 corvette driven by Dale Earnhardt as raced at Daytona, Sebring and other tracks?
If they are pure center lock wheels, then an adapter would have to used. There a couple of companies in the UK that make adapter for center locks, but all saying the cost becomes a big issue. I am hoping they can be closely replicated in a cast/forged 5 bolt version.. I can use these from CCW called the classic.

if your interested send me an email to sales@mpmodularwheels.com
we can easily redesign the wheel in the proper specifications for your C5 and we would build them using light weight 6061-T6 forged aluminum
you can choose the size, width, even off sets or we can choose for you. Also color .
we have done many private designs for other clients and this one is fairly simple .
your wheels will also come with our fitment guaranteed and a life time structure warranty
we did these below for another client cause they where no longer available
just to give you an idea
obviously that’s not the same wheel but just want to show you that we can design any model for you and won’t brake the bank either
BBS, well had them on one of my cars 25years ago, and they were quite expensive the, but if you bent one, you could buy just the hat replacement...not that i ever did that...hah....were on a porsche 944 GTP with ls1 power

BBS is one of the best wheels in the world. We used to have them for BFG from the IMSA team 962 and we used them in advertising on Porsche and Corvettes in the 80’s.
Not sure how much now but in the 80’s the forged wheels were $750.
I used to have to change hats to get different off sets for different cars.

I seem to remember a cost around $2600 to $3000 for all fours, now probably more than twice that number. I would only let the Goodyear tire guys at the track mount them.

I have a set of the BBS LM series wheels on my C-5. I bought them about 17-18 years ago, and they cost me about $3000-3200.....
Mine were the classic mesh style I think the 50 series. Not sure if they still make them.
Those were a very nice looking wheel. CCW, in their "first generation" wheels, had a cast center that looked very much like the BBS wheels that you're referring to. I had a set of them on a '96 Z-28 Camaro that I used to own.

I started mounting these back when I was 16 years old. I always wanted a set but did not want to spend the money. The Fiero behind my Vette has Prime wheels that were copies. They were not cheap either, I made my own Pontiac caps for them.
The most expensive one I mounted were wheels for a Bugatti GTS. They were BBS and about $2,000 a wheel in the early 90’s.
I did have a set of OZ racing wheels from F1 from McLaren. They had the big 13” Goodyear tires on them. I was used to the IMSA wheels they were heavy. The F1 rear tires were like 8 pounds with the tire the front 4 pounds on the wheel. I never saw a wheel and tire that big that was that light. I would hate to see the price.
I don't need center lock for a street car..
Hyperv6 those wheels look pretty close to my old BBS wheels same gold centers too...What is the big snorkel for?

‘That is the scoop Pontiac designed for the IMSA car. It was never made legal to run. So they used it on protype cars and the 1984 Indy pace car.
