Default 2004 Commemorative Edition Z06 Value

What is a fair price range for a 2004 Z06 Commemorative Edition with 12k miles in mint condition? I'm looking to purchase one and just want to make sure I'm in the right price range.

What price range are you in?
I've seen them with that kind of miles for anywhere from 38K to 50K asking price.
Remember though, if you buy one and are worried about future value, then every mile you drive it decreases that value.
I would love to have a Commemorative Edition, prettiest C5 Z06 ever, but I would have a hard time not modding it and driving the wheels off of it, and the value out of it!

I picked up this one https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...vette-z06-109/
it’s been modified quite a bit but I think the mods are very tasteful.
Good luck on your search!

Depending in what part of the country that car can bring mid $35K to near $40K.

Now in Florida it might not sell as well as they have so many cars there but in other markets like in the midwest it might bring this kind of money. Same for auctions as they can bring bigger prices at times.

It is one of the most demanded packages.

Now with more miles it can drop $8K.

Just brought this one-owner, 31,000 mile LeMans for $30k. Completely stock apart from the Nitto tires and Optima battery. It doesn't look it, but it needs some TLC to uncover the goodness hidden beneath. I think that it was an extermely fair price considering that non LeMans '02-'04 with under 35k miles were up against the $30k mark.

Think you have some pretty good answers here already….. bought my ‘03 all original Z with 30k miles for just under $30k ….. I think that mileage and Commemorative package may add a little more value so I’d say between $30-35k somewhere is right on the mark.

not sure the commemorative package alone adds a ton of value here but combined with originality and low mileage may definitely bring a premium.

What do you guys think about future value? If an 04 Z06 Commemorative Edition is kept nice and clean, serviced properly and kept with relatively low miles.......do you foresee these cars increasing in value over time or losing? It seems like they've held their value fairly steady over the last few years and might even be going up a bit now. It make me a bit nervous because the C3 and C4 Vette just never seemed to hold their value. Of course, many of those were basically run into the ground too though. I've done plenty of research, but just curious what some of you think since you probably have more specific thoughts/expertise on the 2004 Z06 Commemorative Edition. Thanks in advance everyone.

The good, unmolested/not-modified cars will always hold their value. I do believe the C5 ZO6 will escalate in value. Headers, cat back exhausts, intakes, cams, aftermarket ‘stuff’such as spoilers, hoods are value killers.

i just sold my ‘96 C4 LT4 car for $26.5k. It is a Top Flight car. You can buy molested LT4’s for $10k.

Like I said in my previous comments, if you can stand to leave it all original, take very good care of it, and not put many miles on it, then a low mile Commemorative Edition will surely go up in value, that is if you buy it right in the first place.

With shipping, taxes, etc. I would end up with approximately $38k invested in it with 11,800 miles.

That's not bad, is that enclosed shipping?
I missed out on a 20K mile one local to me for 33K.

as mentioned earlier … you could easily be in a similar mileage C5 Z for $30-35k range ….. so is the commemorative edition worth the extra $3k-8k to you? If so then go for it! Me personally the answer is no as I prefer the no flashy stripes and grey wheels of the non commemorative cars….. the carbon fiber hood is pretty cool though. I wouldn’t personally hold much value of the commemorative cars over that of a clean similar year and mileage Z. I think “collectors edition” corvettes of any generation tend to be a little on the cheesy and overproduced side. Same with the 50th anniversary package…..it looks nice but from an added value standpoint I just don’t think the market speaks volumes or holds significant premiums for those options despite some dealers trying to push the narrative that they do.
