Building a Custom Splitter. Measurements?
Hello, as the title says, I'm looking to make a splitter for the c5. Looking at doing a full flat-bottom undertray and rear diffuser, but am focusing on the front half of the car for now. I can try and gather data at work since I work on these cars for a living, but usually pressed for time to even think about taking measurements of the front radiator support or cradle, looking for acceptable mounting solutions, etc. Maybe someone could help me with this?
The best I could get from a forum user would be a cad model of a C5 corvette scaled to the right numbers. I would also like to see where the front air dam is to make either a NACA duct air inlet on the bottom side of the splitter or block it off and make the car a mouth breather (Blocking the underside air dam inlet and removing fog lights and bezels to make a direct path to the radiator with custom air inlets leading through the bumper, with the addition of a screened license plate cover, again with custom ducting to get the air to the radiator) This is a small part of a large plan for the car.
Would be a plus if you have the EOS Front Splitter with the middle air dam in it as that's what I will be running. The purpose for this is to try and have something durable mounted on the underside of the car as to not crack the front lip and add a performance aspect to the car. The plan is to make it rigid enough to 50/50 grind the car on something and take no underbody damage (unrealistic, but that's how I'll think about it to guarantee a durable product.)
Let me know if they have a tape measure ready with their car off the ground and looking to help with the measurements and design of the splitter, front cooling ducts, or maybe some additional elements that could benefit the car in any which way.

Electron Sport has taken all the guess work out. If you dont want the carbon splitter and still want to make your own, they also have the brackets separate for mounting. I can stand on mine with just those 2 side brackets and I weigh 300lbs.

I am still wanting the strength of the Electron Motorsports splitter, if I can't stand on it (Only 120'ish pounds) then there's no point in even doing all of this. I'll have front splitter rods as well as the mounting brackets bolted to the frame, so I'll need to choose my material accordingly. this will be figured out after some more research is done on material choice. might do a draft with plywood for my first go, and to see what the final product will look like cut out and mocked up with a jack or something. I'll need to figure out the shape before all of this happens anyway
