Driving on the freeway saw it flying towards my car and it hit very loud and I flinched, took a few seconds to see where and it was on passenger side near windshield wiper.
It’s the factory windshield with HUD, and the damage is round crack around the point of impact.
Think it can be fixed without windshield replacement?
We can imagine how frightening a hurling rock must've been for you. For windshield repairs, it is advised to contact you local Chevrolet dealership or a preferred windshield repair company on any repair options. If you have any questions, our team can be reached via email at socialmedia@gm.com.

@Chevy Cust Svc when you post this kind of nonsensical response it makes it less likely people will listen to anything you say.
Unless your vehicle is under the manufacturer's warranty dealers are typically a poor choice for repairs.
In addition, dealers are not generally doing their own glass work anyway.
Find a competent local glass repair/replacement shop is the best option.
I would not get too worked over a paid poster from India with a canned statement.
GM does this every few years to show that they did something. What? Not much…
Now on the other had the GM engineers and designers and even some leaders read these posts. I wish they would speak up a bit and people would be civil. It would benefit both sides.

He does this all the time. I ripped on him awhile back. I think there's gotta be some kind of software that detect these kinds of questions. Some asked a question on the price of changing in engine and this Chevy guy popped up and said take it to the dealer. I told him the car is worth 12k. Dealer would of changed him 15k so where is the deal. Never respond.
