So I plan on doing the TiMod exhaust. Found a friend that will hook me up welding it, but I need to supply material. Plan on just getting the tracspec cnc cut tubes. But does anyone recommend what wire. Maybe the CP2 0.0620" from titaniumjoe?
I was thinking something similar, but didn't want to open that can of worms. Owning a titanium bike frame and researching them for a long time, I'm not sure I'd even want my Ti exhaust welded on. Welding titanium that isn't perfectly clean sounds like a real challenge. It's really hard to get a 20 year old used exhaust system super clean.

Just a thought... But if your friend is welding it, shouldn't your friend know what to use? Has your friend welded titanium before?
He has also works at a sheet metal shop. I called him and asked if he could weld the exhaust and asked he what ti-alloy it was. Figured if anyone had any ideas on what it was or give me an idea on rod. But I think the Cp2
