I know this has been asked before, And i don't want to beleaguer this subject But I'm getting ready to get some work done on my 03 and the shop who quoted me was Corvette Paramedics in New Jersey. I want to get reviews and I looked online and with the New Jersey BBB and there wasn't any problems at that point, and the other reviews were back in 2011 ?
I see the old 2011 thread in the regional group. Maybe this post can be moved to the Northeast section and maybe you can get some new feedback. Is there a local NJ Vette club FB group you can ask too? I've also used google map reviews and looked at the newest reviews too. I know it's far but I use Gallant's Automotive in Bel Air MD. There's gotta be someone in your area
Don’t know what kind of work you want done but Phoenix racing is outside of Philly. They build race cars, many of them Corvettes, so they may be able to help.
So I just got a clutch job done there last year. Let me tell you about my experience with them. I have done all my own work on my C5 since I have owned it but considering the amount of work and time to do the job I decided to take it to get done. I bought all my parts from Tic performance so I didn't have to add parts into the cost just all labor. So to get down to it. Turn around time wasn't that bad for a shop that is pretty busy at times so no complaints there. Labor was quoted to me at $1,800 before dropping it off and turned into $2600 at the time of pick up so there is that. Getting all the work done because I had a leaking slave cylinder and while getting that far in should just replace more things. I got a clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder and torque tube rebuild with a remote bleeder kit installed and new master cylinder. I had brought the tic master cylinder there to get installed but instead they used a stock master which I didn't mind at the time just have a $300 tick one sitting around for no reason. Then it wasn't a OEM master it was another brand. On top of that they call and tell me my window is off track and would replace the window regulator for an additional $300 which I told them no because I do all my own work and the part was $50 online. Keep in mind my window was perfectly fine before it was dropped off and it just happens to break while there getting repaired. So skip ahead to the pick up of my car. As I arrive there to pick up my car it is sitting out front with my window stuck about a third way down and my key sitting on the center console. Go into the shop to pay get the surprise of it costing way over the quote which it is what it is and then take my car home. Drives good on the way home. Pull into my driveway and go to throw it into reverse and my shifter will not go over and into reverse. So now I am like agh shouldn't be having this problem. I call them up and explain to them the issue and they say the shifter needs to be aligned and that I can do it myself and proceeds to explain to me the process over the phone right after I paid all this money to get the work done the right way. So now I am in my driveway pulling apart my center console to make the adjustments and find that they had broken every tab that secured my console down. I had to replace with a new one after because it was not usable. Also none of my shifter bolts were tightened I unscrewed them with my fingers and no tools. So after adjusting the shifter it still has the same issue. I had then given up for a couple days and was planning on bringing it back to have them correct it. I wasn't comfortable with that anymore seeing my broken console and window so I decided to investigate it myself. I rode it up on ramps and crawled under to find that they hadn't connected my reverse lockout sensor. I plugged it back in and the issue was resolved. But now that I am under the car I see my rear axle seals are leaking and we're not leaking before I dropped it off. So long story short the clutch and everything is fine but it left with more problems then I dropped it off with and cost me more time and money resolving things that was created at there shop.
I was going to take it to East Coast Supercharger but they were booked for a couple months. I will never get anything done at Corvette Paramedic ever again so I will buy the tools and get my hands dirty myself if it comes down to it.
Need to clear this up. I have nothing against ECS. Being busy is good for business and shows the shop is trustworthy.

I'm very sorry we couldn't get you in right away, I like to think there's a good reason for it. Best of luck to you in the future.
Oh I didn't mean any thing bad about ECS it was just a busy season for you guys and I didn't want to wait. It was my choice to try out another shop. Nothing against your shop at all. I would have preferred taking it to ECS.

+1
I forgot about them being close to the OP. They have a great reputation in the autocross community. I remember the owners used to autocross a yellow C5 often.
