I installed some speed engineering headers on my 1999 c5 and didn’t realize we needed a 2001-2004 oil dipstick. Does anyone have a recommendation on what to get? It looks like the oem 2001 oil dipstick is discontinued.
Just use the stock tube that you have. I lopped of the original bracket from the tube and painted it. 90° angle stock for the bracket to hold the Ace hardware clamp I found in the Corvette isle . I used Aluminum but you could use a piece of steel angle iron Once the clamp is tight you can bend the clamp as needed to tighten the header bolt.
I just bent my original into the correct place, reused the original mounting tab with a bolt into a spare threaded hole in the head. Pretty easy, just took my time massaging it into the right spot.
