Hi,
I recently installed longer studs for spacers on my rear wheels. After installing the new wheels I started hearing a jingling and rattling noise from the rear.
I have tracked this down to rotors that have play in them, even when wheels are torqued to spec. I can reach through the wheel and jiggle the rotor back and forth. I don’t see how that is even possible. Attached are some pictures. I even tried bolting the spacer against rotor and rotor still moves. The lug nuts are not bottoming out on the studs either. Any ideas?
Edit: it’s interference between the hub and the machined lip in the hub centering part of the spacer. The hub protrudes too far or the spacer isn’t machined deep enough to accommodate.

I think you've found your answer. The spacer isn't fully seating against the flat surface of the hub's flange, therefore the wheel isn't, either. That could be fairly dangerous, if you continue to drive the car like that. Either get the proper spacer, or modify your current spacer, ASAP!

I am definitely not driving it until I get it resolved! However I need a 15mm spacer that has a counterbore of 14mm to clear the hub pilot. The spacers I have are American made, quality units, but I don’t know how they would work on any c5 with stock hubs. The bore depth is about 11.5mm on them.
