Default ***Sharp Light Innovations GIVEAWAY: Hyperflash/Bulb combo***

Sharp Light Innovations is offering our first-ever product giveaway for the C5. We're starting with a product that EVERY C5 owner should have: Our Hyperflash harness and super-bright Amber LED bulb combo. Anyone familiar with a C5 knows the front turn signals were poorly designed such that the DRL/Signal bulb is too close to the reflector. Over time, this will cause the housing to melt until there is a hole on the top. Water from rain or wash then falls in the hole, blows out the bulb and corrodes the socket. If your housing doesn't have a hole yet, it WILL develop one over time.

Our solution is a much cooler-running Amber LED bulb that's considerably brighter than OEM and won't harm your housing. It maintains the overall factory appearance of the C5 while the increased brightness contributes to safety through more visibility.

LED turn signals draw less power than factory bulbs leaving the car to trigger the bulb-out warning known as "hyperflash". Our hyperflash harness solves this problem by installing under the driver's side dash and restoring factory flash rate.

I would use this to indicate my turns/lane changes and challenge BMW drivers on how much brighter mine were than theirs.

Having recently purchased and installed your Bi-LED ACA headlights and experienced first hand the dramatic improvement they made over the factory system I have no doubt these also would provide a similar technological improvement. Here in the Pacific Northwest with our often gloomy weather, resulting in low visibility, improving the lighting on our C5 is a critical step in making our Corvette safer to drive. With this improvement and eliminating the eventual failure of the factory system on our C5 these would provide a working example of how Sharp Light Innovations technology can improve our Corvettes.

I will use these when I install the replacement AmeriLite turn signal lenses recommended by Toys4Life C5. The new lenses combined with your LEDs and the hyperflash harness combo will be a great and affordable upgrade to my recently purchased C5:

I bought my 2001 Corvette after owning a '78 Anny L-82, and a '91 ZR-1, and a few Porsches. I really just wanted another V8, RWD, manual transmission fun car. I also daily drive a new modern car with modern lighting (2023 Subaru WRX). Modern lighting is just simply lifechanging if you drive often at night.

I will be driving the Corvette to work on nice days, but I get up super early. I am usually on the road by 5am or in the pool at the local Y getting in some swim time. My commute is 75 miles one way. A few times a year I go to work late and come home in the wee hours of the morning. I drive in the dark often. I drive a bit in town, a bit on the interstate, and the remainder of my commute is windy roads where I often see downed trees and wildlife. I have seen too many deer to remember, racoons, possums, armadillos, turkey, hawks, foxes and even black bear on my commute and often in the dark. I rely on my lights to be able to make sudden maneuvers, sudden stops, signal other drivers. To make enjoying my 2001 Corvette more, the factory lighting is pretty abysmal. I need upgrades so I can enjoy the soundtrack of my LS6 and driving something fun that smooths out the winding country roads. I have been considering the full "Night Flyer" package, but I'm not ready to purchase, yet. I have a lot of other minor issues to fix on the car. I would love to help with product testing and reviews. If I am truly going to enjoy my Corvette, I need lighting upgrades. I bought an '01 Z06 because of the performance, value, and lighter weight compared to newer models. I know from owning Miatas and Porshces, I prefer lighter cars. I also know that I can upgrade almost anything and everything on the car. Based on reviews, videos, and photos I know whoever wins this giveaway is going to be very happy.

Even if I don't win, you'll probably still get business from me in the future. Good luck with the product testing!

The C5 as delivered was a powerful car. As it has aged, it has become a strong platform for easy migration to newer or current lighting, wiring and safety as it applies to these products. Lighting upgrades have many motivating factors. Appearance. Style. Improved Visibility. Increased vision distance and focus. And the harness converts to old system to allow LEDs at all points and not give someone near you epileptic fits. One additional factor for Sharp Light Innovations (nee Radio Flyer Innovations) is the known high product quality in a world of cloned products from Chyna or random vendors which do not meet the need of consumers.

What would I use it for? Simple. Higher visibility for me is KEY. I have SLI lights for my Z06 already, but I just bought a 99 Coupe built in 2004-06 which is a bit of a time capsule with a C5-R 427 and F1R blower. I'm hoping to get her on the road this weekend or next week. Those who know me know that I have survived two accidents/wrecks in C5s where I have been struck from behind while stopped. One left me with minor brain damage, and the other I continue to chase down - most recently referred to neuro-surg to chase down back pain. For different reasons, in both cases I had recently removed my Halo LED brake lights shortly before I was struck. This has led me to develop the stigma in my head that I *NEED* brighter lighting not only for illumination for for visibility. To be seen is to be safe. When one of my best friends @Markolc1981 bought an FRC last year I was compelled to gift him a set of LED tail lights so he would be safe. Particularly if he took one of his kids out for a ride. So for me? I would be swapping these into the old coupe to improve the visibility from the front and to control the signal blink rate when I add my spare Halos to the car as well.

"My Corvette" is actually my wife's, a 2000 Nassau Blue which is my wife's favorite color and the color she has been searching for years. After finally finding it she knew she had to have the car and my wife's face lights up every time she sees her car. I'd like to do something nice for my wife because she is pretty picky with anything done to her car and I know this would make her happy. My wife has never done any sort of modification to her car herself, and this would be a nice first start for her. My wife loves class, style and these lights are every bit of that! Her Corvette deserves to shine in every detail, and winning these side marker lights would be the perfect way to elevate its style and visibility. They'd add that extra touch of sleekness and make my ride even more head-turning. Fingers crossed!

I didn't figure I had a shot. But did want to put it out there that modern/bright lighting is a big safety improvement in addition to function and style. Glad we share the prize.

Something very cool arrived today. I am wondering where the harness installs though, but I haven't used the search function, yet.

The harness installs inside the dash. If you drop the driver knee bolster it can be reached up to the right basically next to the cluster and radio level.

Check our installation guides. There should be a business card in the box with QR code link.
