C5 front shocks

Having to get my front shocks replaced and am wondering if they can be replaced with normal shocks instead of the electric ones which are ridiculously expensive. Thank you

I replaced my F45 (1999) shocks with C6 Z06 shocks about 10 years ago and they have treated me well. I also installed the F45 simulators so the computer doesn't go haywire. I think I got all 4 shocks with sims for under $400?

Yes, the electronic shocks can be tuned out.
Be award there are two different electronic systems, F45 and F55. The sticker on your glovebox door should show you which one your car has.

Easy way to tell if you have F45 or F55 shocks is do you have a 3 position switch or a 2 position switch on your center console?
