So, I’m looking at another Corvette. It’s a decent car. 01 T56 Vert w/ 60k on the clock currently around $14000. But needs some work. It needs tires, harmonic dampener, AC system leaks and it could use some paint repair. I’d assume a clutch in the near future.
The thing is…the paint damage looks significant. Several panels have cracked paint. It has a clean history with no damage ever recorded and the current owner has had it for over 15 years. I’m worried that this is fiberglass damage that’s causing the paint to crack? The worst of it is on the front cover and the hood near the headlights.
what do you guys think? Hard pass or a good value to repair?
Yesterday a driver crashed into my C5... Now I'm waiting for the insurance companies to deside if they wanta fix it... My C5's life hangs in their hands. I'm waiting for an insurance company desided outcome for the life of my car!... It's a heart ache and sad day. 😕

Sorry to hear that. If you have "regular" insurance (not agreed value) they will try to total it if there is significant damage. Good luck in your dealings with them.
