I just purchased my first C5, a dark green 2001 6-speed with tan interior. It has 63k miles on it. I was hoping someone might remember this car, as it didn't come with a lot of backstory or history. I bought it out of Atlanta, GA, and the previous told me he had bought it out of Alabama from some guys who had a speed shop. It has a few mods, including headers, a noticeably rough idle from a cam swap, and Z06 exhaust. It has most of the options I wanted, including the HUD and sport seats. I'd love to talk to a whoever built the car to find out about the cam swap and what else has been done to the motor. The only deviation from stock on the interior is a single DIN Pioneer radio that replaced the factory unit.
That's a great combo right there. Fun all day long and great looking. Have fun with it.
Maybe post some engine bay pictures. Cam and headers is a great combo. Verify the heads....get a picture of the tab with three numbers on it or of the front plate on the passenger side.

Congrats on your new Bowling Green Metallic C5 and welcome to a fairly exclusive club as only 2,582 were made during the color run in 2000/2001. I looked far and wide to find my Dark Bowling Green Metallic / Oak 6 spd...I found it in KY with 27k miles on it and roadtriped it home to California. IMHO its THE BEST color combo for a C5 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA The exact midpoint of old Route 66 How could I not stop by this place?

Thank you. The color combo sold me on it. I had a green/tan '93 Corvette and a green/tan '95 Camaro Z28. I didn't even realize green was available in a C5 until I found this one.
