UPDATE Thank you for all of the recommendations and advice on Tires.. I decided on the continental extreme contact O2. Got all four for a decent price of 1180 out the door.👍🙏
Going to be getting new tires for the C5 very soon. I have the stock factory wheels.
need some suggestions on good quality tires that will be smooth and quiet. Thank you for any suggestions?

Reason: Update
Look at the decision guide link from Tire Rack.
Or peruse one of the threads about tires, there are several every week.
I like mine, they are round-ish, sticky enough, and have not blown up yet. Others say the same about their tires, sometimes with different words.
If they still make them - the Pilot A/S 3+ runflats are awesome and widest looking tire to the original GY runflats for OEM size. This is partially why I bought them…
[size=2]Looking for run-flats or regular (non-run-flats)? Summer rubber or all-season?
I say, "Just say NO to run-flats!"
A lot of good options out there. I tend to stick to Michelin or Continentals, although I recently put some Falkens on one of my BMWs and so far, so good.

in my reading, the continentals seem to get the recommendation. perhaps because the reviews are a little behind the market and the continentals are the newer design over michelins in most reviews.
but since you mentioned quietness , the michelins have a foam damping tread to reduce noise. and they are a top brand without question.
I went with the goodyear exhilerate , just in case I go camping and the tires get exposed to lower temps, otherwise I would go full summer tires. Primarily I went with the brand because I dig the blimp. I live in an area where one can see it power sliding across the clear blue sky on a brisk spring day.
since tire manufacturing technology is so well known, I didn't really sweat the choice. But seeing they are essential safety equipment, I limited my choices among the top brands only.
Are you POSITIVE about that?? Just my personal observation is that they've been off the websites a couple of times in the past, then just as suddenly, they've reappeared. My thought is that they're made in small batches, and appear when a batch is made, and disappear when that batch is sold out, but before the next batch is produced.......
What?! And deny us our weekly “what tires should I buy?” thread?
It's not that bad of an idea. Lots of our favorites have been discontinued or are not available for the C-5. I had to switch from Goodyear F1DS G3s to Nitto 550 then to Nitto 555 G2 for that exact reason.
Have these on my 2004 GTO in 235/40-18 and 275/35-18. Time to replace, but I was very happy for the price. For next tires, thinking V12s again, General Gmax RS, Conti DWS06s, or maybe the new BFgoodrich Phenom (I don't think Phoenoms are available in stock C5 sizes). The gf has a set of DWS06s on her 2019 Civic, and I'm thinking those are amazing tires even if all season tires.
I have mixed different tires front vs rear axle, but I have keep them from the same manufacturer and the same family - for example Michelin Pilot SuperSports on the rear and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 on the front. Not sure I would mix different manufactures tires front vs rear axle, expect say if you were running say drag radials in the back. As always YMMV.
