hello I just purchased a 1999 c5, the battery keeps draining due to the interior light now shutting off. I have located and turned the **** off, however the issue continues to persist, can I purchase a non online? If so where. Any help would be appreciated.
What is a “non online” ??…if the battery drains you have a “parasitic drain”…many YouTube videos on how to diagnose it…if your electrical skills don’t go beyond replacing a fuse seek an auto electric shop in your area !!
My 98 c5 had a similar problem and I ended up just pulling the radio fuse after seeing a forum post somewhere stating they had issues with aftermarket radio adapters for the bose system. I don't know yet if it is true or not as I haven't finished the troubleshooting but I can tell you that the car can sit for weeks at a time now without the battery dying so it definitely seemed related for me. The car acted like the door latch sensor wasn't working as you would turn the car off and key out and open the door but the interior would never turn off. After I looked at the door with a tech II I saw that that was actually working fine which led me to the post about the radio.

that’s was a typo “**** online” for the interior lights. I am thinking they’re stock at on.
