Default Experience with Sequential tail lights ?

I was thinking I'd like to get one of Vette-lights sequential tail light kits, has anyone done this and what was the result at night or what does it look like ?

I just bought that sequential light harness from Vette Lights, received it a few days ago. I'll get around to installing it in the next week or so and I can give you an update. The instructions say to attach a short wiring harness to the outer taillights.

I thought that harness was discontinued quite a while back. Good to see it's still around for the stockish lights.

this video shows the C8 style sequential sequence from George @sharplight

i no longer run this harness because i now have infinity tails with built-in sequential signals and they didn't play nice with george's harness.

his harness is for sale here:

https://sharplightinnovations.com/sh...-light-harness

also note that the C8 style sequencing I had is not his default sequence. i had to request it special made from him

I've had them installed for many years now, no issues and a unique look from the rear.

I like mine a lot.

I have an order in with Vettelights. I have the European taillights with the red brake lights and amber turn signals. Cole says it should work with no problems.

There are two different but related things. You can have infinity lights without the sequential blink. You can also have sequential without infinity. In my case I bought the infinity lights and then a signal sequencer..

No. Hyperflash is caused by LED lights (front or rear). The turn signal sequencer couldn't care less which type of light it is sequencing......works with both.

We have a few types of sequential tail lights:

A. Traditional 2-stage sequencing tail lights: Inner light illuminates first, outer light is delayed for a fraction of a second. (This is the most common style of sequencing tail lights for the C5)

B. 3-stage sequencing (Halo tail lights only) Each tail light is divided into 3 sections and both inner and outer tail lights sweep in sync with each other. Installation is simple using factory connectors and a 3-wire link (quick connect) between inner and outer lights.

C. "Full Sweep" More complex sweep. Inner light illuminates, then outer light illuminates. Inner light shuts off before outer light shuts off. This is more of a "Sweep" effect than a sequencing. Stop lights illuminate both inner and outer simultaneously and instantly. This requires a different circuit and harness to be installed similar to the euro tail light harness and there is some modification of the OEM harness required.

Yours was a one-off custom. So far it's the only one I've built.
