In the process to buy a Millenium Yellow C5, it is a Z51 car.
It rides fairly stiff, I take it that is characteristic of the Z51.
It has over 90K miles, so thinking a new set of shocks are in order.
Car is all stock save for a Borla axle back, and that may have to go, too loud for me for putting around and some interior drone.
Car looks really good, and the price is pretty low.
Hoping to get it tomorrow.
Well it's all mine now!
Spent all afternoon rearranging my garage, but made room for the car with room to spare.
Off to the tax office in the a.m. to get it registered and a new set of plates.
Congrats on your new 'vette. Love the yellow ones.
Thanks!
Yeah, that yellow stands out, won't get easily lost in a crowd!
Went to get the title transferred and new plates, only to find out I may not be able to get it done until Friday.
Texas has a deal where the previous owner can submit a form saying he sold the car to protect himself from any liability if the buyer doesn't immediately get the title transferred, and it takes about 48 hours to get through the DMV system.
So, can't drive it with no registration/license plates, so I just get to look at it, sitting pretty for a couple of days...
