VARARAM Questions ...........
I installed my Vararam about three weeks ago.Since the install I have been experiancing a surging problem. The surging only happens at low RPM's at around 1500. Other than that it runs fine. The car has not pulled any codes.
With all of that in mind. I have disconnected the battery for a hour/ over night etc.... Tried em all !
I have also torn down the entire system to make sure there were no leaks. The V strip is sealed properly.
The hoses are all tight with no leaks possible. After talking with Patrick, he seams to think its my filter not sealing properly. In which he is sending me a new filter. (Patrick is awesome by the way.) My problem may be solved with a different filter. FINGERS CROSSED ! This is such a nice system and I want to work out right. When I give it the gas I can tell a difference in power even with my small leak problem.
But I was wondering who all has experianced the surging problem and what the fix was. I have truly done all of the obvious. But maybe there is something else.......

Patrick is probably right on with his assertion, a poorly fitting filter would cause turbulence, which in turn will produce the surging you are experiencing. This is my thoughts on this subject, as I have had surging before with a setup I was running, and that was the cause of mine. (Not a VR BTW)
