Gas Cap Seal
Does anybody know where we can purchase just the seal for the gas cap? Original gas cap p/n seems to run from 1997-2005 and has a green seal (AC Delco Tethered Fuel Tank Cap GT276 or GM 19432733). I've flipped the seal over and it seems to keep the OBD system from setting a code. If we can purchase just the seal, it would likely be much less expensive than even a cheap 3rd party cap.

My car cap bought OEM from the dealership for my 2005, never notice color for inside gasket.
I heard people say little Vaseline on the seal does wonders.
Might want to try E-Bay, might be cheaper buy the cap!
Who told you about color seals mean different years, maybe different manufactures making the caps for GM!

Thanks - yeah, nothing special about the green color, but it seemed consistent with this part number compared to others, so I thought maybe there is a source to buy just the seal for a few bucks instead of $15-$25 for a replacement cap assembly. Thanks!
