Hi.
I am new to the Corvette world and found this Corvette kind of close to home but it seems over priced, For those who know (not me) looking for thoughts please
That link doesn't go to a specific car, just the page where all their Corvettes are listed, which one are you asking about?
The 3 C5's they have listed are a little high, but all are low miles, one is less than 6K miles.
They look like they only deal with low mile somewhat pricey stuff.
My observation is the listed C5's are overpriced by almost $10k. Doesn't look like they want to sell them. I'd be selling mine if they brought that kind of money.
Personally I'd wait till the fall, although virtually the entire use car market it so overheated it is difficult to see any of these prices as normal. By fall these dealers will have to consider putting them away till spring, or come back to reality.

10K???
No, they are nowhere near that overpriced, not with as low miles as they each have.
And, pricing comparisons have to take into account where they are located, but still not 10K too high.
Maybe 3K to 5K high if they were located somewhere besides upstate NY.
20 G's for a 60K mile C5 is not 10K over priced, come on'.
One thing you gotta remember, if you buy from a dealer, you usually get some kind of used warranty. That is the first thing you ask, what kind of warranty are you offering on this used car? If they say as is, then walk away and look for a private sale or go to another dealer. There are a lot of C5's for sale. 20G would be my personal top price I would pay for one.
I got 30 day warranty from the Nissan dealer I bought mine from, except for the tires. I had a window regulator go out first week I had the car and they replaced it no questions asked. Dealers have to make sure the car can pass a safety inspection before they sell it, in my case, the steering rack leaked when they took it in on trade and had it re-built. Everything else on the car was perfect. Smaller USED car lots, well that can be a crap shoot, but a large dealer, just wants to move the car so they don't have to send it to auction. Personally I think that is a bargaining chip on the buyer side if played correctly! Mine was advertised for 21500 and I walked out paying 19.6 OTD cash for a sweet completely stock 02 C5.
Are there 10G deals out there? Yeah, but you have no idea what you are getting without a complete inspection. Like any used car, look at it good and if it checks the boxes and you think it is a good price, buy it.
Last year I picked up my 02 vert listed on Marketplace for $15k. It had 51,000 miles and was a garage queen, perfect except dated tires. Regularly see nice C5's with low mileage under $20k. Naturally I see some with big prices that have been listed for a long time. Guess it depends where you are looking. I usually avoid dealers, but two of the nine Corvettes I have owned came from dealers with reasonable prices and motivation to sell. KBB still lists the book price of the car at $18k. Good luck!
I got a 02 Convert with 30k miles for $21k from a dealer and a 90 day warranty. New top and mint cars.
The prices at this dealer are very inflated compared to if you shop around.
Many Chevy dealers prey on novice buyers who don’t know better and thing a used Chevy lot is the best place to go. Most of these dealer hate yo even work on these.
If anyone paid similar prices you got ripped.
The accept ion is a low mile un modified Z08 that can carry a higher price.
If you want to buy a C5 with 50-70,000 miles at a theoretical low price, it is not hard to do. People with no knowledge at all will be glad to give you all the clues of how to this. Should you want an actual nice car with those miles, it is a little more difficult and the so called "experts" don't have as much to tell you. Nobody on here is good enough to simply look at an add, not even the car, and pass a reasonable judgement!
Actually if you have looked and know specific cars there are things that set off alarms as to condition in photos.
The one real key is the drivers seat. If original how is the wear. Is the seat foam crushed? Is the leather cracked?
cars with higher miles cared for well will have leather in good condition also the seat foam would be replaced.
Condition of the wheels? Curb rash bad clear?
Close up photo of the nose. Stone chops there and on mirrors., is it scraped up under the nose.
The ask for photos under the car. Scraped up crossmembers?
Also many of us watch the market and know what we see for sale so we have a decent idea of value. Prices can vary around the country too.
Chevy dealers generslly price high some will negotiate to the better price. Some if they hold the high price walk away.
90% of the C5 models built are on the road. Many are in good shape so keep looking and don’t get car fever and get taken.
Take your time and enjoy the hunt looking at and driving a number of cars. You will learn much.
Also watch cars that have modification. Make sure they are documented as to how it was done, who did the work and just what parts are used. A modified can be well done but many sre cars people screwed up. If it is documented you better know how well it was done.
Much of this is common sense.
Also if unsure walk away. Too many end up with a Corvette from Hell because they got Vette fever.
Buy this book on Amazon and read it.
if you look enough you can tell pretty fast if a car is worth looking at or not with photos and a few questions.
Good advice. The only thing I would add is buy the best that you can afford. Unless you get very lucky it will pay off in the long run. If you buy a good car you will be addicted to Corvettes. Buy a bad one it will leave a bitter taste in your pocket book.

I agree. Others may be willing to pay that much, but it would not be me, and I really like the C5 - I owned 3 of them over a period of nearly 18 years.
