I just watched the first episode of the new series “Stick” starring Owen Wilson. Pretty good, similar to Tin Cup but with Wilson playing pretty much the same character from Wedding Crashers as a washed up, ex golf pro.
What was funny is that he still drives his worn down yellow C5 Corvette from his glory days as a pro and I was surprised by how many shots featured the car.
Wish I had that channel too. Looks like it would be a good show. Always liked Owen stuff.
I don't have Apple TV but the premier episode was available on Amazon Prime. I would like to continue watching it but don't want to pay for another streaming subscription so I guess I will have to wait until it's available on other streaming platforms to find out what happens to the C5. I think Stick is hitting the road with the young phenom golfer and taking his friend's RV so the C5 may not be in future episodes.
