Default Making progress on my 2000

Hi All
it has been a while since I have posted here. Have been busy working on my 2000. It is not done yet but I think looking good.
I am currently building a LS416 for it.aming for around 500 HP here are some pics of the car.

The C7 Kalahari seats look great in there. Did you use dye to change the other interior items to the same color?

thanks for the reply. Yes the interior pieces have been dyed. The seats are C7 and stock color

Nice. And the pics sealed a decision for me, I must take the BSM's off my 2000 of the same color. Looks so much better without them.

Yes the interior has been died. Seats are stock color out of a C7

I think so also. Still have a little work left on the innterior. Pics don't show the quality of the paint and the metal flake

Still have to buy a few parts for the 416. It will be my first LS build so i am a little bit learly

This thread needs photos of the in work 416 -- parts on a bench, stand, or even a pallet on the floor would be acceptable.

Default 416 motor build parts

Hi
this is a break down of the parts for the 416 I will be building for my 2000 :

Ls 6.2 block
MMS Black Label Cathedral Port
Heads. 2.165 intake valve
1.600 exhaust valve
CAM MOTION CAM 232 /240
.598 / .598
. Diamond coaded 11.50 / 1 pistons
Compstar H beam rods
Compstar 4 in stroke Crank
ARP Main and Head studs
King loaded Bearings
Johnson lifters
Crower shaft mounted bushed
Rockers.

Looking for around 500 HP at the
rear wheels.

As I said I have built lots of mothers but this will be my first LS build.

What do you think, will i bd around the 500 HP mark??

With an upgraded intake manifold, I’m assuming? 525 wheel with an A4 trans, 550wheel with a manual trans ???

Yes 92mm TB and intake. Intake had been matched to the headache.

Thanks for the info. It is hot here in AZ SO I don't get to work on it much. Garage is like a oven. I do work on it in the evening

After a long delay the 416 build has started
All parts are moving very well. All clearances are set and checked and rechecked. Next week should see the short block finished.
