X-pipe?
Have been reading a few threads in regards to x-pipes. I am currently using a Magna-Fiow cat back. Have seen some threads saying a x-pipe will reduce sound and drone. Just wondering if this is true. Thanks!

I wouldn't say it reduces sound, it just gets rid of the motorboat burble and smooths it out. Some say that an x-pipe helps reduce drone, but that is all relative.

Recently put a Magnaflow X pipe on my car that has Billy Boat PRT's. Made the motorboat sound go away and I think the tone of the exhaust is better but it noticeably lost some volume which I'm a little disappointed about.

The true solution to excessive drone is to upgrade to a Corsa axleback. Lmk if you'd like to explore that path OP.
