When I had my C5s, I really liked the ergonomics, fuel efficiency for a performance car and overall design of the car.

I will add this. The people. The Corvette community like this forum are seemingly always willing to help, answer questions and generally are very welcoming.

It’s roomy! I read someplace that the C5’s have a lot of knee room. I recall getting into C8 at Carlisle and felt like I’d lost nearly 2in on each side!

absolutely! I created my first account here back in 2004, I can't remember my email I used back then so it's gone. Found posts I made too, met alot of people on here and became friends with. Always helpful information also the occasional asswipe who would rather be a jerk than offer any kind of help. So yea the comradery (sp) is evident here

The worry on any of these is that there were not that many made so replacement parts are iffy. The convertible hard top messing up was my biggest fear. And, if the top is down, there is
very little trunk space, so it's not very travel friendly. Here's how I carried my weekend bag with the top down! Obviously, that wouldn't work with a passenger! It was still a really cool car.
