Default I’m back…..again!

hi folks, it’s my pleasure to tell you that I am back as an active member of the forum. I’m very excited to be here again. This afternoon I purchased a 2003 C5 that you will see pictured below.
Two things I need to ask right away.
First what are your opinions are on how that wing is mounted on the rear, because it is not staying. As soon as I can remove it, it will be for sale at a good price.
Secondly, the axle back exhaust is very loud. It looks like one of the louder Borla’s but I have not had the chance to examine it since I don’t have the car yet and I’d rather not bring it home with that on it. The car is going to be serviced my The Vette Shop in Pipersville, Pa and I’d love to have the changeover done by them. I want sound similar to a C5Z06 Ti, or a Corsa Sport. I have not kept up with the latest ‘exhaust tunes’ so I don’t know what else might be out there. I’ve glanced at discussions of “Ebay” or unknown brand exhausts that are attractively priced but I don’t want to experiment unless I have some recommendations. I would gladly swap with someone as well. I don’t want to spend the prices I now see for a new setup, since most of them last pretty long. Thanks everyone!

Nice clean car low miles!

That is quite the wing for sure. If it has holes drilled which I'm guessing it does? it shouldn't be hard to find a mint factory paint rear bumper cover.

Good luck with the new car.

Congrats and welcome back!

We're somewhat local (Warminster) - have Corsa systems in stock and can install if interested.

Thanks
I’m looking for a used one, since the cost of new is just too high. If you have any take offs I might be interested. I had a Corsa Sport Tigershark on my last one and it was just right.

Congrats on your C5 - sharp looking car. I had a Corsa Indy Pace Car exhaust (predecessor to the sport) and loved the sound.
