Picked up my Special Order C5 Coupe one-quarter of a century ago today! It has been my only vehicle the past 25 years - looks and drives better than the day I brought it home. If I could get parts, she would probably last me 25 more!
Thanks to everyone on this Forum, without whom this would never have been possible.
Congratulations! Got a year and three months for my 2002. No more emission testing in North Texas and a five year vintage car plate for less than 20 bucks.
The most impressive part is that you say it has been your ONLY vehicle for all that time, WOW!
Fortunately I work from home and only drive the car on days when the weather is good (or I stay home or take UBER). Just turned 83,000 miles, Never been out of town or seen a night outside - I also drive mostly after dark which minimizes sun damage.

Well, for me, there are way too many times when I need to carry items that would never fit in a Corvette, I have almost always had a pickup along with my cars.
Your post info says you're in Midland, and this makes it even more out of the ordinary that you haven't had anything else to drive.

Definitely not the place to own a nice car! I don't know how they sell so many high-end vehicles here - every other car has at least one smashed body panel and a broken windshield from all the rock-throwers (pickups). I had three windshields replaced in one year and never ventured more than 3 miles from home. Between the 3rd world streets (more like railroad tracks) and the Corvette-sized potholes to dodge, I feel like I have ridden a horse by the time I get back to my stable.
Or do you have DC stuff? Life sized Hulk? I swear I recognize that garage area and wall color from a thread long ago on here. But maybe I'm nuts.
No collectables of any kind, just a big X-Files fan back when I first bought the car. As far as the garage, it appears in several posts I have made on the Forum the past 15+ years.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
