Front lowering bolts
I'm looking to lower my C5Z, and i've found that there are several styles of the front bolt/pad. 1. Pad is welded to the bolt 2. pad is articulated so it can swivel 3. pad is three layers thick
Also, the pad thickness varies from thin to thick. I would appreciate any feedback on the various styles. Thanks in advance for your help!

I used the lowering bolts on my 2001 convertible. Bro it rode horrible! I had no idea that those that use the lowering bolts, yes you get the look but the ride was absolute trash. I ended up just going with Silver's Neo Max and now it handles better than most high end new cars. GL.

When lowering the C5 you run the risk of hitting the bump stops on the shocks if you lower it to much. Also never use the fender height to do your measuring as they are ususally different side to side. The ride height should be measured at the bottom of the A-arm for accuracy.
