Default Body alignment

hi Folks, I wondered If anyone here is an expert or just have some really great advice on alining body panels. my new C5 has an aftermarket hood, which I like. However, the driver side wiper arm contacts it. The funny thing is the wiper arm has been worn away while the underneath part of the hood and the rear edge only show contact scratches. Using the rear bumper I raised the hood temporarily so I can use the wipers. However, this looks like crap and there are other alignment issues. The hood is sitting too low in the front. I was wondering if it’s possible to shim the front mounting brackets so it’s even with the front bumper’s rear edge and the sides align with the fenders. I’m very much aware of this problem with Corvettes in general. To add insult to injury neither front fender lined up with the door, so I was thinking if there may be a way to move the entire fender up. Attached are a few pictures illustrating the problem. Thanks in advance

Not saying the hood isn't an issue, but that wiper blade looks high on the glass. Check post 26 here for a pic and beam style blades that sit pretty low. Always make sure the blade is as low as you can get it first.

I’ll take a closer look but the area hitting the hood is the rigid part of the arm that attaches to the motor stem.

Don't be mad but have to ask. Are you certain the wiper arm is fully seated on the serrated post?

No reason to be mad, I was hoping that was the problem and I could be done with this nonsense, but no joy. I even cleaned it and lubed.
