C5 headlight bumpers
Hi all,
Over the winter I've going to be installing new BI-LED headlamps into my C5 as a project. While I'm in there, I figured I should rebuild the headlight motors with the metal gear and probably should replace the headlight bumpers since they're all original. When I search for the bumpers online, I find these guys:
In the description, they're very clear that these are for the left headlight only and shouldn't be used on the right. I've never opened up the mechanics of the headlight but I would THINK that the bumper would be a common part for both sides? Also, how many do I need total to redo both headlights? If the part isn't common, can someone point me in a direction of what I need to do both headlights?

When I was replacing the passenger side headlight motor, I noticed that some of the bumpers were pretty worn so I bought some of these.
97-04 Headlight Stop Bumper / Insulator (Set of 2)
I may have purchased 3 or 4 pairs and used them where needed. It doesn't matter what side the bumpers go on, there isn't any difference.
