I unfortunately lost a part of my corvette. It is for the center cargo cover. The part I need to find clips into the cover to hold the cover down. Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA
Not all, but the vast majority of parts can be identified via the C5 Parts Manual .pdf. I never seem to have the link handy, but a quick search will turn it up. The zip file is on the order of 125MB, so too big to just email.
Regardless, if the part you're looking for is #4 on this graphic, then the part number is 10290666. Long since discontinued, of course, but good used are available, and not all are ludicrously over priced: https://corvetterecycling.com/c5-cor...PmoyZJDxEuGSqv

Good luck - sounds like a solid lead above. Or try a used parts vendor like Vettenuts and see what they have. No idea what they would charge for the part.
no what I’m looking for is the piece of metal that piece clips into.
Will take a photo when I get home, but unless I am very much mistaken the piece of metal it inserts into the edge of the big bin, #11 in the graphic above, no?
I've never come across that piece in my 20+ years of shopping C5 parts. As suggested by redzg it's likely comes attached to #11 above. I highly doubt you'll find it via a part number (different from #11) or as a small stand alone part from a vendor.
Follow Jack's lead and contact Vette Nuts to see if they can source it for you. One of the Corvette salvage specialists is likely your only choice.

Still confused. The center cargo lid only has two latches, one on each side -- is the photo indicating the L/H is missing? That's wild. I pulled my cover yesterday but did not think to pull the carpet back sufficiently to see if it's a riveted mount plate. We still haven't hit 50f today, but might wander out just for the edification. If it is a riveted plate, should be reasonable simple to duplicate.
